INSPIRE – INTERNATIONALIZATION OF MASTER PROGRAMS IN RUSSIA AND CHINA IN ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING

The methodical seminar for RU-CH administrative staff and teachers take place at H108 in OVGU Magdeburg and the duration of the meeting was five days from 24 April 2017 to 28 April 2017 (according to schedule).
The one week methodical seminar for RU-CH administrative staff and teachers in Magdeburg will be held, with focus on program structure LOLA methodology, ECTS credit system. Guidelines for the harmonization of teaching content will be set, which are devoted to evaluate the core of teaching activities and disciplines in the foreseen education network aimed at allowing a joint Academic Content Standard within the consortium and respecting the specificity of each country. Measurable indicators(MI) : 28 RU-CH teachers will participate in training. Guidelines for teaching content harmonization – 1 in RU, 1 in CH, 1 in EN languages.

Issue: Chinese participants could not participated due to national restrictions on the travel abroad in the current meeting.
Solution: There will be organised in additional meeting for Chinese in Russia in October 2017 with representative of OVGU and Russian universities.

Outcomes of the seminar
- The following topics were discussed:
- The European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS);
- The Learning Outcomes and Learning Assessments (LOLA);
- Introduction to the Global Curriculum Design for the SAP University Alliances Community.
- Structure of the Master program was discussed. The curriculum of the program will include a common module, a specialized module, a practical module including internship; a research module including Master thesis. Program will be designed starting from Dublin descriptors to the profile of the programme, from the profile of the programme to the key learning outcomes, from programme key learning outcomes to the module map, from module map to module level learning outcomes, concluding with the alignment of the module level learning outcomes through the LOLA methodology, based on the EU partner best practice.
- Main structure of the Guide book (GB) for the program content harmonization was developed for Russian education system. The full version of the GB including Chinese partners will be developed further after the meeting in October 2017.
- There were discussed the preparation of the monitoring project in Kazan.
- There were discussed the financial issue and reporting issue for the first project year.
